The last half of 2023 was a period of profound change for me. After facing the dual challenges of losing a significant client and the passing of two beloved family members, my life took an unexpected turn. I had enjoyed a six-figure income the previous year, but it came with immense stress and constant work. Suddenly, I found myself in a slower pace of life, feeling somewhat adrift.
During this transition period, I focused on more personal and grounding activities. Gardening has always been a passion, providing a rewarding escape. I also cherished the time spent with my rescue dogs and grandchildren, which brought immense joy and comfort.
One day, while tending to my garden, I experienced a moment that would profoundly impact my perspective. A hummingbird, gracefully hovering by my hanging flowers, caught my attention. I stood there, captivated, watching this magnificent creature. It was a moment of realization – amidst the hustle of my previous life, I had missed out on appreciating such simple yet extraordinary wonders.
This experience sparked a profound reflection on my life’s direction. I decided to leverage my experiences and skills in a way that would not only fulfill me but also assist others. I leveraged all I have gained from 10+ years in coaching, and Proven Accountability and Coaching was born. My goal is to help others find balance in their lives, enabling them to enjoy moments like watching hummingbirds, all through the power of accountability. This new venture is not just a business; it is a personal mission born from a period of loss and introspection and fueled by the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
